'Tranquility is about sound, not making noise but listening to the natural hum of the living forest, the sea and for its splendour and the river for its serenity'.

The lodge boasts 7 double en-suite rooms, one of which is the Honeymoon or Penthouse Suite with spa bath, fire place and double shower. Beautiful and comfortable, yet simple and understated - this is truly a place to escape to!

Tranquility Lodge is mostly wooden in structure and truly blends with the natural forest of Natures Valley. Boasting a lush indigenous garden that makes you feel that you are hidden away from the outside world. The lodge has an enclosed hotpool and a pool with wooden deck.

Dining can be enjoyed indoors in the spacious and open plan dining area at the large family style yellowwood table, or on the outdoor verandah overlooking the lush indigenous garden and into the top of the tree canopy - giving you the feel of being in a tree house.

The Lodge has an open braai area next to the swimming pool and the private and unique hotpool. Each room at Tranquility Lodge has its own double sit-on-top kayak. These kayaks are stable and suitable for novice paddlers. They are an ideal way to explore the birdlife and natural surrounding of the lagoon and estuary.
